Clifford founded the first arts organisation dedicated to exploring spirituality in the arts, past, present and future, with over 200 professional creative members.
Upon relocating to Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire in 2026, Clifford set up this arts community to encourage greater collaboration and social connection.
Clifford has built his own suite of WordPress plugins to offer an extensive collection of powerful systems to website owners, small businesses and webmasters.
WordPress is an incredibly popular platform, powering around 41% of all websites globally, and offers a vast range of plugins to extend its capabilities. Yet many site owners and administrators struggle to get different plugins to work well together - at best, a WordPress site can feel like it just about "hangs together," without even accounting for the security issues that often follow. After many years working with the platform, I decided to build my own suite of plugins, designed from the ground up to work together and give site owners the functionality they're actually looking for.
Frustrated by the patchwork approach most WordPress sites end up with - plugins bolted together, security treated as an afterthought - Clifford set out to do things differently. Drawing on years of hands-on development experience, he created 21st Century Systems: a cohesive WordPress plugin suite built from scratch, where every plugin is designed to integrate cleanly with the rest, giving site owners real functionality without the usual compromises.

Partnering with multimedia agency ICV, Clifford produces covermount CD-ROMs for GQ magazine, Conde Nast, Mushroom Records and others. He later works for Radio 1 DJ Gary Davis to produce CD-ROMs for New Woman magazine and Shine magazine.
